Korataki
Korataki is a tribute to the 1970’s futuristic classic, China (also known as Chimes). While font psychologists were still trying to figure out the effect of wide linear type on the human mind, engineers at Typodermic went ahead with plans for a gutsy successor to Neuropol X. Korataki’s simple design appeals directly to the imagination. Free of all self-consciousness, it transfers messages invisibly without a trace of manipulation. Readers are left aware of only a bright future stretching out ahead of them. Alternates are included for A, G, Q and 4.
Korataki is available in OpenType, Mac PostScript and Windows TrueType format. Korataki has accents for: Albanian, Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Icelandic, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish. The OpenType and TrueType formats support Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Japanese (Katakana/Hiragana), Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Turkish, Ukranian and Welsh. The OpenType format includes class-based kerning.
The Mac PostScript format only supports Latin 1 languages. If you need to support Central European, Welsh or Japanese, you should choose another format.
