Draculon

Draculon is an animated casual inspired by the letterforms of William Orcutt’s Humanistic font from 1904 . . . which was in turn based on an Italian manuscript from 1485. The subject of the manuscript was probably something about vampires and pirates or even worse: the dreaded vampirates. Draculon is available in OpenType, Mac PostScript and Windows TrueType format.

Draculon has accents† for: Albanian, Bulgarian, Byelorussian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Icelandic, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian & Welsh. The OpenType format includes class-based kerning, common fraction and 46 ligatures.

*Automated OpenType ligatures currently only work in Adobe CS products.

The PostScript format of Draculon only supports Latin 1 languages.
